Nice statue
Nice statue and found the link to Canada interesting, especially when we wandered along to The Walks and saw the area named for Vancouver there too.
A pleasant and surprising break to a journey.

A worthy tribute !!
The George Vancouver Statue is on the Purfleet Quay near the Custom House. It details the extraordinary travels of this fine sailor and explorer.
Vancouver namesake
Interesting statue of an explorer and its nice that his statue graces the harbour area. Good photo opportunity.
