It is a very quiet city, very quiet night and day. To travel it you can use the tram that has travelled by the most beautiful tourist sites. Cross the island with the active volcano ...

It was a bigger and magnificent shrine than I expected. It is said that it is designated as a national important cultural property. Perhaps it was because it was afternoon on weekdays, there were no worshipers other than me, and the large precincts had a slightly lonely atmosphere. Personally, I like this shrine.
It is one of the largest shrines in southern Kyushu that enshrines Hikohohodemi, known as Yamayukihiko. The current shrine is a building from the Edo period, and the decoration such as national important cultural properties, sculptures, and the food of plants on the ceiling are beautiful, and the huge shrine felt magnificent. It was interesting because it was different from the relatively close Kirishima Jingu Shrine.
