City Tour.
Yet another Soviet memorial to those who lost their lives during the Second World War. What a pity they never spent the money on the population at the time rather than these huge statutes.
There's not a lot to do in Kremenchuk, as shown by the fact this large Soviet-era memorial is high on its list of tourist attractions. Built on the site of a prison holding those detained by the Nazis...
I've been beside the monument last September. Still under renovation, too dusty and some construction garbage around it. Need more attention from city government. Probably will be done for Kremenchug...
A relatively thoughtful, interesting monument with an eternal flame, but has been under renovation for a while now and needs this to finish to live up to its full potential.
