    Important cultural wealth

    Original Text

We received it at the [Special appreciation of "Nishi Honganji" cultural property] sponsored by the Kyoto City Cultural Tourism Resources Protection Foundation. The missionary was designed by Mr. Chuta Ito and was built as a company building of Shinshu Shinshu Life Insurance Company in 1897. It is also an important cultural property.

Yangfeng Building の Benyuan Temple and Taoist Temple

    Original Text

The missionary temple on the main gate of Honganji Temple is a brick Western-style building. It is a site different from Onishi-san, where huge Japanese-style buildings such as Amida-do are lined up, and the atmosphere is different. The main street is named because it is on the line connecting the main gate of Oto and Oto.

    unusual.

    Original Text

Honganji Dendoin is the first building of Chuta Ito's "architectural evolution theory", and is a building with British Victoria, Islamic, Indian, etc. Originally a Shinshu life insurance company, it is now a place where monks work hard.

From Nishi Hongan Ji Temple to the east, crossing Asahikawa Dori street, you can see a building like a brick mosque on your right. It seems that the former 々 was built as an insurance company for Shinshu believers, but now only the main building remains and is the missionary of Honganji Temple. Important cultural property of the country.

    it's a unique thing.

I stopped by when I walked from Higashi Honganji to Nishi Honganji. It's a retro brick building, and at that time I didn't think it was a building owned by Nishi Honganji at all. It seems that it was originally used as a life insurance company for believers. I think this is good to have a deep pocket.
