De • Falke Windmill is one of the landmark buildings in Leiden town. This classic windmill can be seen on different roads from the train station to the south into the city. The upper half of the windmill has recently been remodeled, and the graffiti has been painted in the color of the Dutch flag, making the windmill more eye-catching. Whether it is a few river channels far away, or a look up close, even sooner or later at different times of appreciation, there are different feelings.

Without going to Zansburg or the children's dike, Leiden has three ancient windmills. De Valk is the most famous of them. It is located about 5 minutes away from the train station. It is straight out of the train station. When you want to cross the bridge, look to the left to see De Falke windmill. Today it is converted to the Municipal Windmill Museum, where you can buy tickets to visit the windmill and collect books and items related to the mill.
The store area is large, the environment is really good, and the price is really not expensive! Duck!
De Valk is the third windmill located in the same location in Leiden, South Holland Province, the Netherlands. In 1611, the column-based windmill (standerdmolen) "De Valck" was completed. In 1667, a wooden burqa windmill (stellingmolen) was completed. In 1743, a higher stone windmill was built. The windmill was originally equipped with six torque stones (koppels stenen). There were two rooms inside the windmill, initially for two owners and later for the miller and his servants.
The main body is made of stone, one of the very old batch of windmills, you can enter it to see the inner operation of the windmill, the environment is still very good.
