It is a museum attached to Tsukamoto, the largest kiln of Mashiko ware. You can appreciate the works of various artists, including Shiko Munakata, for an admission fee of 300 yen. I'm glad the building was also quaint.
Masuko has many facilities related to "Tsukamoto". One of them is the "Tsukamoto Art Memorial Hall". Although it is a paid facility, many of the works on display were quite spectacular even if they were amateurs.
The kiln in the suburbs of Mashiko Town is the base. It is a craft museum attached there. It's vacant because there is a charge, but all the works on display are wonderful. If you like pottery, you will be satisfied.
Admission fee is 300 yen. In the Shoya-zukuri building that was the main building of the Tsukamoto family, you can see the works of masters such as Shiko Munakata, Shoji Hamada, and Kanjiro Kawai.
