Mengcheng Confucian Temple is a place for worship, performance and schooling in the feudal era. The Confucian Temple was built in Yuan to Yuan 21, and the site was still rebuilt in Ming Hongwu four years. After many maintenance and expansions in Yongle, Wanli, Shunzhi, Kangxi and other years, the Qing Dynasty style gradually formed. The Confucian Temple is the Lingxingmen, Dianchi Lake, and the bridge (the above is to be built), Dachengmen and Dacheng Palace. The Lingxingmen is facing Qingwen Street and takes its meaning of "pingbu Qingyun". There is a well on the southwest side of the Lingxingmen, and the famous holy well "Sanjing Ganquan" is one of the eight scenic spots in Mengcheng. Mengcheng Confucian Temple is a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level in Anhui Province.
