It's in a vast park, so you can take a full-scale walk! It may be especially recommended in the early spring and other seasons when flowers are in full bloom ♪ I went in the summer, so the flowers weren't blooming very much, but I enjoyed it.

越後の里山の自然がそのままに保存された花の園

雪国の里山の自然植生を大切に保存しようという主旨で運営されている植物園。山野草が咲き、小鳥がさえずり、蝶が舞い、蛍が光る。園内ではカワセミが雛をそだてている姿も確認され、早春にユキワリソウ、春にシラネアオイ、夏にヒメサユリ、秋にヒガンバナが咲く。なぜか懐かしい雰囲気に包まれた林の中にゆったりとした散策路が続いている。
