Just 45mins by car from Taipei city, Yehliu Geopark showcases the power of nature by formation of nature art piece. Erosion by the sea create unique shaped rocks. These honeycomb and mushroom rocks have nicknames according to their shapes, the most well-known ones are Queen’s Head and Dragon’s Head. The most famous Queen's Head Rock in Yehliu is named because it resembles the head of a queen! It's said that it might break apart within a few decades... Yehliu Geopark can be reached by bus from Taipei Main Station, with buses running every half hour. The park is home to many unusually shaped rocks and is located by the sea. The bus stop is quite far from the geopark, about a 15-minute walk. It is a famous tourist attraction in Taiwan, surrounded by many restaurants and cafes. The entrance fee is about 100 Thai Baht. The park is not very large.
