Wu Jie's former residence was built for Wu Jie during his tenure in Zhenhai. Wu Jie repelled the French army during the Sino-French War of Guangxu Emperor and won the victory of Zhenhaikou. The former residence was at the intersection of Shengli Road and Renmin Road in Zhenhai Old Town. Recently, it is being upgraded and renovated, and it is temporarily closed for visits.
