A great time!
I had a great time here to see Jeff Innocent in March 2024. The ticket price was £19 (including the booking free) which these days I consider to be good value, especially for a 2 hour show with a 15 minute interval. The theatre had a classic feel as staff warmly welcomed you and later on at the interval brought around an ice cream trolley. Drinks were available from a bar at the side of the room that included alcohol and soft drinks and little snacks. While the toilets weren’t great and the venue had an old musky smell, on the balance for the price and how comfy the chairs were (honestly the comfiest I’ve used in a theatre!) it was a nice evening! I would certainly recommend.

Came here to see the fabulous swing band Down for the Count as we saw them last year and really enjoyed their music The theatre is run by a lot of volunteers who make you very welcome and do all they can to make your visit special
