Fujimura = I was surprised to think that it was just a wife.

    Original Text

When I went to Tsumago, I heard that there was a tomb containing the hair of Fujimura Shimazaki, so I didn't know it was in Oiso. Speaking of Fujimura, it's an image of Tsumago, but it was in a temple called Jifukuji Temple in Oiso. It seems that there is a grave because he lived in Oiso for a long time. Moreover, he is lined up with his beloved wife's grave. It is said that the anniversary of the death of Fujimura (8/22) is held.

    Fujimura sleeping under the umebayashi

    Original Text

Fujimura is a grave with a slightly fashionable feeling. It is said that Fujimura Shimazaki was buried under the plum forest at a funeral. The guide who accompanied me is 「 so don't walk except for the cobblestones in the precincts 」. The guide was said to be the chief priest. Anyway, it was a well-maintained and elegant temple.

    A gravestone surrounded by plums

    Original Text

There is a tombstone of Fujimura Shimazaki at Jifukuji Temple, a Shingon sect temple, about a 5-minute walk from Oiso Station. Fujimura seems to have spent his later years here in Oiso with his beloved wife Shizuko, but the tombstones are also close to each other. Many plums are planted in the precincts, and it seems that they are still staring at the plums that they loved together before their birth.
