Early bird catches the perfect shot

We rose bright and early for our visit to Inari. With absolutely zero regrets of missing a few hours sleep. Inari at the break of dawn is amazing. The scale of the shrine is so vast and impressive.

    there was a joruri hut.

    Original Text

It is near the entrance to Midosuji on the east side of Namba Shrine. It is a remnant of a shrine that was related to Bunraku because there used to be a Joruri hut at Inari Shrine of this shrine. There is also a signboard in the precincts explaining the relationship between this shrine and Bunraku, but it may be easier to understand if it was near this monument.

    Stonestone

    Original Text

This is a small stone monument on the left side of the entrance to Namba Shrine facing Midosuji. It started when a Joruri hut was built at Inari Shrine of Namba Shrine and it began to call itself Bunrakuza.

    Namba Shrine Birdju Heng

    Original Text

A stone monument next to the large torii gate of Namba Shrine, which enshrines Emperor Nintoku, which is enshrined on the west side of Midosuji. Hakuro Inari Shrine was built in the precincts and gathered the deep faith of Funaba merchants. It is said that the Bunraku (Ningyo Joruri) of Namba culture was also held in this precinct. It seems that the hut of the second generation Uemura Bunrakuken was built and sponsored by a merchant of the shipyard. It's a ruin of Kamigata culture.
