A Historical Architecture
Went to Otaru Park and passed by this historical house. Local Residents use it for their performance.The stage seems under renovation with green covers.

It is located in the Otaru City Public Hall. It seems that it was originally built by businessman Ken Okazaki in another place, but it has been relocated to this place since then. You can't go up to the Noh stage itself, but you can see the stage built in front of the public hall.
It's the highest level of Noh stage.
Adjacent to the public hall in Otaru Park. Ken Okazaki, a businessman who made a fortune in a rough goods dealer from Sado and also served as chairman of the Otaru City Council, built it in the courtyard of his own residence in the city in 1918. He was also a literati who enjoyed Nohgaku, and he had a considerable commitment to construction. It is said that the stage uses cypress from Kyushu and Kamishiro cedar from Sado around the stage, and has a higher prestige than the National Noh Theater.
