Bedouin Oasis Camp

Bedouin is an Arabic translation meaning "nomads living in tents" in Egypt of tens of thousands of Bedouin people. The Bedouin tribe is really primitive. The house is built from branches and reeds, and the roof is spread with date palms and leaves. Very simple. Only the chieftain owns a mobile phone, goes into town once three days, buys food back. The dowry is a camel. T. E. Lawrence once said that the Bedouin lifestyle is hard, even for natives, and even more frightening for outsiders: a living death. They are greeted by tourists every day, abandoning government-provided settlements and insisting on living in the desert.
