This a great area to be, lots of bars, food stores gift shops. We were very lucky our hotel was on this road. We walk up and down and found new places every time.

Love the ambience and the culture of downtown reykjavik, loved the 66 north and my favourite was the nordic market, with amazing handcrafts and gift ideas. Recommend.
The small street is in the centre of the city but not expecting the Elysées fields. There are few shops and it's just memory shops selling the same things.
