You see this peak from the road, but you can't approach it. Still, it's pretty impressive, even if you just drive by.

The first of the monuments visible from Kayenta, it is an incredible introduction to the monument valley. Continue past it on US 163 to enjoy the rest of the monuments, i would come back down 163 also...
You can't miss it
RIght on the road to Monument Valley and quite impressive. Not the same reddish color as the rest of the scenery, nonetheless, quite solemn on its own or in the context of the surroundings.
