Historic Fort Concho is about a 15 minute walk across the river from downtown San Angelo. Admission was a reasonable $5 and staff on site were extremely friendly and helpful. The site is huge and ther...
Step back in history
Historic fort with an expansive grounds you can walk around and check out. Seems like they are redoing some of the displays right now but still worth checking out the grounds.

Very well maintained and interesting site! I love the events that are held here, especially Christmas at Old Fort Concho! They do a phenomenal job at bringing history to life!
