A small castle
To be honest it was rather boring. No furniture inside to demonstrate how people lived. Just empty stone rooms. Cheep to visit and on the way to the church.
The King’s Castle is a fine example of a proper, well fortified castle. Sitting high above the river it almost reminded me of views of Durham in England - mind you, that’s probably because it was rain...
Looked lovely but closed on the Monday when we went . Nice walk up to the castle snd church great views. Nice town around to eat snd drink ….. worth a visit
If you have nothing to do and you're over the euro, you can go. But let's go, they should not even charge for something like that, I think. The views, history and just a little more

A fine, traditional, defensive castle.
