A building that tells the remnants of the old days
Original Text
The pink window frames and doors, the red roof and the pretty building, and the library, in contrast, are robust brick buildings, but both are valuable buildings that retain the remnants of the old Hokkaido University campus. There is a sign called "Hokkaido University Publishing Association", and it seems that it is being used in active service.
It is a tangible cultural property building built in the Meiji period. In fact, it was used as a library until 1986. It was still active and had a signboard for the "Hokkaido University Publishing Association".
If you enter the Hokkaido University Sapporo Campus from the main gate and go straight, you will find it diagonally opposite the Clark statue. The reading room has a white wall and a red roof, which has a common atmosphere with the clock tower, but the library is made of brick and is very heavy. It seems that it is still used as a university office, and tourists are off limits.
One of the buildings that tells the agricultural school days
Original Text
At the southern end of the Hokkaido University campus, it is one of the buildings that retains the remnants of the agricultural school days along with the Furukawa Auditorium and the former insect and sericulture classroom. Since its construction in 1873, the current Central Library has been used as a library for agricultural schools, an auditorium for entrance and graduation ceremonies, and a library for the Faculty of Agriculture until the completion of the current Central Library. It consists of a reading room of a wooden one-story building with a red roof and an ivory white wall and a two-story brick library, creating a ~ atmosphere over the deep trees on the campus. ...
It was used as a central library, a library of the Faculty of Agriculture, and an auditorium for more than 60 years until 1965 (Showa 40). It is still used in active service. In the green of the grass and Elm, the red roof and white walls create an indescribable taste. It is easy to visit because it is close to the main gate of Hokkaido University.

It's adjacent to the Elm Forest.

I can't get inside.
