Yingtian Academy

Yingtian College, also known as Yingtianfu College, Xiangyang College, Nanjing College, Nandu College, and later upgraded to Nanjing Guozijian, becoming the highest university in the Northern Song Dynasty, it is also the only college in ancient China to upgrade to Guozijian College. Northern Song Dynasty College is mostly located in mountain and forest resorts, only Yingtian College is established in the bustling city, which has become the main feature of Yingtian College. Yingtian College is also known as the four major colleges in ancient China in the history of education, culture and thought in China, with the Bailudong Academy of Lushan in Jiangxi, Yuelu Academy in Changsha, Hunan, and Xiangyang Academy in Dengfeng, Henan.

The Chinese academy education system of the first school of the fallen Northern Song Dynasty came a super leap during the two Song Dynasty. More than 390 academies were established in the two Song Dynasty, of which more than 80 were in the Northern Song Dynasty. Almost all the four major academies spread in the later generations were built during the Northern Song Dynasty. Yingtian College is located in the southeast of Shangqiu Ancient City, in the Northern Song Dynasty, with Bailudong College in Lushan, Jiangxi, Yuelu College in Changsha, Hunan, and Xiangyang College in Lushan, Henan, and is called the four major colleges. Fan Zhongyan teaches here. Yingtian College, formerly known as Yang Tongwen, was a private school in the later Jin Dynasty. After his students, Qi Tongwen, they were able to develop and "all scholars from far and near". The Northern Song Dynasty regime opened a science and took a taxi. The talents of Yingtian College were out of the ranks. More than 100 students were as many as fifty or sixty in the imperial examinations. When Song Zhenzong, because he remembered Taizu as the emperor, he changed Song Taizu Zhao Yu's place in Songzhou (now Shangqiu) to Yingtian Mansion in 1006, and then rose to Nanjing in 1014, where he was a companion. In 1009, Song Zhenzong changed the college to Nanjing Guozijian, making it one of the highest institutions in the Northern Song Dynasty. The college was expanded with the support of Cao Cheng and others, especially Yingtian Zhifu and the famous literaryist Yuan Shu. A group of famous politicians and literary artists Fan Zhongyan teaches here, and they are even more talented. They are full of glory. The posterity also has the "Fan Wenzheng Public Lecture Academy Monument" to commemorate. In the seven years of Dazhong Xiangfu (1014), Yingtianfu (now Henan Shangqiu) was upgraded to Nanjing, becoming the companion capital of the Song Dynasty. Yingtian College is also known as "Nanjing College". In the three years of Qingli (1043), Yingtian College was upgraded to "Nanjing Guozijian", becoming the highest university in the Northern Song Dynasty, and also becoming the only college in ancient Chinese academies to be upgraded to Guozijian.
