Sandakone can take AirAsia, from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakone in an hour, when the cheap ticket is only tens of yuan. From the downtown area of Sandakone, grab a taxi to Sepilok is also 60 or 70 yuan. This is a real tropical rain forest. The scenic spot has built bridges and bird watching towers. The rain forest for tourists is only a small part of the area. The depths of the rain forest are outside the scenic spot and cannot be entered. The ticket is MYR 20 for adults and MYR 10 for children. If you enter the scenic spot early in the morning, no one will check the ticket and go directly in. Be sure to night walk night adventure once, you can make an appointment at the ticket office for night walk, MYR 30 for adults, MYR 15 for children, a guide to take you, walk in the rainforest for two hours at night, take professional night lighting equipment to find night plants, animals and insects, We are fortunate to see beautiful sleeping birds, insects, spiders, night monkeys, bamboo leaf green snakes... You can also see monkeys, eagle carvings during the day, and various beautiful birds, it is best to take a professional camera remote focus to take pictures of birds, the naked eye can not see clearly. Accommodation within one kilometer near the rainforest is rare and expensive. You must book in advance and book a few more days to prevent rainstorm night adventures due to the cancellation of the weather. There will be regrets!

Built in the 18th century, the church is made of stone, and during the Japanese occupation during World War II, it was a Japanese barracks and a prisoner of war camp. The glass painting in the church is very exquisite from the hand of the master. You can buy a ticket for MYR 10 to visit and take pictures. The old church has a long history. The Chinese sister martyred us.

If you want to learn more about the history of Santakone, it is worth a visit. We passed here on a walk to the historical sites. There are many introductions to the Keith family in the house, but the most interesting thing is that the local history and the Keith family are illustrated here. It also has a beautiful view and after climbing more than 100 steps you can go to the tea house for a drink (note, not only 100 steps). It doesn’t seem real enough. Just me and my husband walked in the former residence while the guide sat outside. I think we probably spent 10 minutes here. If we could choose one time, we wouldn't spend money here. We wouldn't waste any money here.

I almost deleted the Yamatogan Memorial Park from my travel plan, and I am glad I didn't. The Yamatogan Memorial Park is a lovely and cool oasis with a very good view. The park was built to commemorate the inhabitants of Australia, Britain, New Zealand and Sandakan, who endured three years of Japanese brutal occupation during World War II. The information is very rich, many stories are very moving, here you can see many real events of history and the stories left by the six prisoners of war who survived the concentration camp. The Sandakan Memorial Park is well worth a visit.

The Kinabatan River is the largest river in Sabah. It is a concentration of wildlife along the river. Passengers can enjoy the scenery of the nearby area by boat. It feels good. At dusk, the atmosphere is particularly romantic. Around the river there are many wild apes, elephants, otters, cats, in addition to hummingbirds, egrets and snake birds, etc., the place also found long-nosed monkeys, big noses teach people to see unforgettable.

The Long-Nose Monkey Reserve is a place with a unique natural ecological environment as the main body. The Long-Nose Monkey is also a very cute small animal. The scenery in the reserve is also rich. The Long-Nose Monkey is very suitable for wild life. The scope of the reserve is also very large.

Temples
M32***23
Have you seen more Buddhist temples on the top of the mountain? Have you seen a lot of beautiful seas? However, it is not too much to combine these two elements into one landscape, right? There are many Chinese Buddhist temples in Sabah, Malaysia, and Shandagen Puji Temple is one of them. Built in 1987 at the top of Shizui, at the southern end of Shandagen City, Puji Temple cost MYR 7 million, equivalent to RMB 16 million, is the largest and tallest temple in Shandagen. Puji Temple is outstanding not only because it is huge and magnificent, not only because it is built on the top of the mountain, but also because here, you can chanting prayers while you can have a panoramic view of the mountain root bay. The combination of the mountain Buddha Temple and the sea view, the mountain Dagen Puji Temple can be described as a must!

The whole of Shandagen's historical relics is still possible. It is a day trip to the scenic spots. It is not bad. The green plants are very rich. The overall ecological environment is particularly good. It is a good place to take a walk and wash your lungs.

Fishing villages are also places where many ethnic minorities live in Indonesia. The industry here is not very developed. The living standards of the whole per capita are relatively backward and poor. There are many people in the fishing village eating by the sea. The fishing industry is not very advanced. It is more traditional.
