National Library of New Zealand

I love libraries as long as they are... but I prefer Wellington. The national library feels very new and foreign, like it is for visiting, the municipal library is more like the daily use of residents, a variety of books and magazines, sofa reading places and self-study.

It’s also good to stay here for a day. There is self-watering, coffee bar, and the key is to have a variety of text books: English, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, one by one.

The National Library of New Zealand was founded in 1965 and was formed by the merger of the Alexander Turnbull Library, the Parliamentary Library (Supplementary Provisions 1985) and the National Library Service, established in 1920. The National Library is New Zealand's largest library, standing opposite the Parliament Building, and the museum contains many precious documents, worth visiting.
