I visited here on May 17th because this [main building] [dozo] [built-in] is a "nationally registered tangible cultural property". What's interesting is that the red walls on the second floor are well incorporated into the guest rooms on the first floor, and the color ガラス and the pattern ガラス are well incorporated into each place on the first floor. Especially, the use of color ガラス in トイレ is splendid with a splendid toilet bowl (see attached photo). Also, this is open to the public from May 1, 2013, and in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the opening, "Abe Omiko Washi Doll Exhibition ...
You can get a glimpse of the way people lived in the past.

It is located in an area called Toba Nakamachi. If you go by train, it is closer to Nakanogo Station, which is heading toward Shima, than Toba Station. The inside of the building is open to the public as a museum and an event space. Some of the tools at that time, old wavy glass, are on display, which are hard to see now.
I stopped by for a walk around the area from Toba station. It is a short walk from Toba station. It is said that it is the mansion of the Hirono family who ran a pharmacy. Because it was late, I only visited the exterior and went home. It was a big building 〇

An old house with beautiful colored glass
The volunteer guide of the hall? gave me a detailed explanation. The colored glass is beautiful. I was able to see the old organ with interest.
