TAKABOOOOO
A museum located at the home of the late Junji Kawasaki, the founder of the straw restoration, where you can enjoy the elegant straw image
Original Text
It is a museum of the Owara-style Bon in the place where the town of Yao, Higashi-machi, once called the husband town, the founder of Owara Chuko, and the doctor who worked as the first chairman of the Owara Preservation Society, Junji Kawasaki, was home. The center is on exhibitions such as the history of straw, songs, and dances, but in the video reference room, it is a place where you can immerse yourself in the straw images. Along with the Hikiyama Memorial Hall, where you can perform stage dance, it is a place that you can't miss if you are a fan of the Owara-style Bon Festival. (Admission fee 210 yen) Next to the building, the birthplace of Etchu Owara ...

About 30 minutes walk from Echichu Yao Station. The admission fee is 210 yen. A museum built on the site of Junji Kawasaki's mansion, which is said to be the founder of the restoration of "Owara-style Bon". The building reproduces the traditional townhouse of Yao. Starting with the video introducing straw, musical instruments and costumes used in straw are exhibited on the second floor, and materials related to Junji Kawasaki are exhibited on the first floor. A stone monument of 'ecchu owara birthplace' is built beside the building.
You can see the picture of the straw wind tray and yukata

I came to Yao CHO, Toyama city for the first time. Owara-style Bon is a folk song event held for three days on September 1st 〜 3rd every year, and in fact, since the date is fixed, I was lucky enough to come to see it unless I hit the weekend. No connection until now I visited the site while I came to Hokuriku this time. In the Edo period, the beautiful townscape and culture nurtured by the profits of selling medicine, selling Japanese paper, and sericulture as the base of the road were still inherited and this festival developed. ...
In the video corner on the first floor, you can see the straw-style tray. There is no intensity of the Nebuta Festival or Awa Odori, but it is rich in emotion. The movement looks slow, but I think it's probably a considerable movement. You can also see how it looks like a town sink. I wanted to come to the actual festival someday. You can also see that people gather from all over the country. There are other exhibits on the 1st and 2nd floors of the museum, but I wonder if I just need to watch this video.
Etchu Yao, famous for the straw-style tray. It seems that it will be full of tourists during the festival in September, but it is usually quiet. Here, you can see the straw-style tray in the video. At Hikiyama Exhibition Hall, there is only two live dance stages a month.
