Mainly of historic significance
The Nishi Amane Former Residence is of literary and historical significance but for those not versed in Japanese history, politics and philosophy the house is les interesting. It is a couple of min...
I visited the Ogai Mori Memorial Hall and left the car in the parking lot there and walked here. In particular, there were no management staff resident and I was able to tour for free. There was no parking lot display on this facility itself. At the Mori Ogai Memorial Hall, I found that Nishishu was a relative. It's a little far from the town now, but was it an area where samurai families lived during the Tsuwano clan?
It is a unique house with a two-tiered thatched roof. It's nice that there are no people in charge and you can tour as much as you want, but I was worried that I would not be mischievous. It can be seen that the interior was a normal Japanese room, and it was a simple lifestyle.
There was no big sign along the road, which was a little difficult to understand. There was nothing special to see in a small private house, and I just felt a little old life.
Nishishu is from Tsuwano and is a relative of Ogai Mori.

When I visited Hagi and Tsuwano, I stopped by the former residence of Nishishu, known as an enlightenment of the Meiji era. He is from Tsuwano and is a relative of Ogai Mori. I visited while imagining their lives in the lush green scenery.
