Several danjiri are exhibited on the north side of the parking lot and the building. It is magnificent with elaborate sculptures. The building itself is magnificent with a large tatami mats, and the bran is beautiful.

It is a free rest area in a corner of the Joto district of Tsuyama, Little Kyoto, where the old townscape remains. It's a little far from the former residence of Nenpo Misaku and the Tsuyama Western Museum, so you'll almost pass by. It is a great place to take a walk while walking slowly in the town of Tsuyama.

If you have the opportunity to visit here, I recommend looking for [2 ｶﾏｷﾘ] drawn in the cherry blossom painting.

It may not be interesting as a building because it was restored in 1993 in [Important Traditional Buildings Preservation District, Joto], but in the hall inside, Iwao Kono, a painter of the Joto district. According to There are [Snow scenery of Mt. Tango] and [Flower 々 in the Chinese Mountains] (6 double-sided cherry blossoms, see attached photos), and [2 ｶﾏｷﾘ] are also drawn in [Flower 々 in the Chinese Mountains]. 風情のある佇まい

津山市の城東地区は重伝建に指定されている、趣のある町並みです。 作州城東屋敷は、江戸時代の町家を復元した無料休憩所。 風情のある佇まい、隣の白壁の蔵と火の見櫓も目をひきますね。 「男はつらいよ」シリーズ最終作のロケ地にも使われたようで、石碑がありました。

無料休憩所になっていて、車も4台ほど留められます。中のだんじりの展示とスケッチは津山らしい地元の文化が感じられました。ちょっとの立ち寄りで印象的でした。
