According to the inscription: Monastery Augustus came to Goa in 1587 and built the church and tower in 1602. The 46-meter-high quadrangle tower, originally the church bell tower, collapsed in 1842 as a result of the collapse of the vault, the 1931 tower facade and half of the tower collapsed, and more parts collapsed in 1938, now only one wall and half of the tower downstairs. The church has eight beautifully decorated churches and four altars, as well as a monastery with many small rooms and pillars. It is part of the World Heritage Site. [Fee] Free [View] I saw its photo on the wall of the restaurant and thought it should be a monument worth seeing. Sure enough, it was a worthwhile trip. There were few tourists in the entire ruin, only a few workers were doing simple maintenance, as if to build a platform out of the open space. There are paths and steps to go up to some of the tops of the walls, and then look down and look at the entire ruins. Very vicissitudes. The whole area should be large in Goa, and some exquisite floor tiles and reliefs are still preserved on the ground and walls. It is conceivable that the church was restored in that year. Unfortunately, it is now dilapidated. There are no protection measures except for a few railings and a small amount of glass cover.
