Grandma’s Pit Village

Grandmakeng Village is located in Jingling Town, Xinchang County, at the junction of Shengzhou, Dongyang and Pan'an, 45 kilometers away from Xinchang County. There are 158 households and 520 people in the village, including 10 ethnic minorities such as Miao, Dai and Bai. . Grandmakeng Village has a good original ecological natural environment, well-preserved ancient buildings, and unique folk customs. Walking into the quaint and tidy village, along the winding trails, the creek flows by, and the green peaks stand on both sides, just like a quiet and distant landscape painting. In recent years, Grandma Keng Village has vigorously developed rural leisure tourism, and has completed the construction of tourist attractions such as the National Customs Park, the Red Footprint Promenade, the Ancient Village Roots-Seeking Memorial Hall, and the Folk Museum. It takes advantage of the national characteristics to build a good national brand, and enjoys the national style and eats the nationality. In terms of dishes and ethnic dwellings, a farmhouse leisure road with ethnic characteristics has been explored. From the former "Bachelor's First Village" to the now well-known "Jiangnan Ethnic Village". At present, there are 6 farmhouses in Grandmakeng Village, with 400 dining seats and 80 beds. The tourism distribution center is also under construction, which will greatly improve the tourism reception capacity.
