Not a sight - but makes an interesting photo.
As many have said, you can see this on the way upto the monkey park. It makes a good picture but I would not have made the effort to see it if it hadn't been on the way to the park.
It's on the way to snow monkey park so that it didn't really cost you much to drop by and have a look. In winter, it's enrobed in snow, which is quite interesting. Of course, if you've been to Yellows...

Don't put this on your todo list. I think it's a steam blowoff valve from the ryokan next door, not a natural feature by any means.

very pretty area - a nice place for a few pictures. Buildings are neat to look at and no fee to see the immediate area
