Nice with cherry blossoms
As my wife and I visited Hommoku Shrine, cherry blossoms on Ouma-Dori, the street near the shrine, were in full bloom, and it was marvelous. I strongly recommend you to visit at the beginning of April...
A shrine where Shinto ritual horse-drawn water is held in the sea for more than 400 years. You can go down from Mt. Honmaki to the shrine, but the entrance with the torii gate is on the residential area side. It is at the foot of the mountain. The red stamp is 500 yen.
I stopped by when I went to the Siemens Club in Honmaki. It is a shrine on the mountain side of Honmaki, and is a shrine with Amaterasu and others as deities. It seems that there is a history, but the company is not new and profound, but if you go through the torii gate on the right side toward the head office, you can climb about 100 steps to reach Honmaki Mountain Peak Park. You can meet the scenery overlooking the Bay Bridge. The night view is also beautiful, so it is recommended to visit at the same time.
It is said that the history of this shrine dates back to the Kamakura period, and there is a 々 annual festival. However, when I went to the shrine, I wondered if the torii gate was new, the building was new, and for a moment it was a new religion, but no, that is not the case. In fact, the Honmaki area where this shrine is located was taken as a U. s.military residential area after the Pacific War, and the shrine also moved once and lived temporarily. After 47 years, I came back to this place again. ...

Walk in the park visit
This shrine/ temple is located adjacent Honmokusancho Park, is a interesting little place, it's a little hidden so you need to look for it.
