By applying 'Systems interference' techniques, their doodles will transform these ordinary objects into something completely new and different. This process-based workshop aims to introduce children, aged 5-12 years, to basic concepts and ideas as they explore their creativity. The emphasis is on understanding the ideas behind the objects, rather than solely focusing on the end result. All materials will be provided, and the workshop is priced at €8 per child. Normally held outdoors on scheduled Saturdays, the Sketchy People meet-up will now be held within the gallery during the colder, wetter, and chillier months. From 2:00pm to 4:00pm, bring your pens, pencils, and sketchbook to capture what draws your interest. You are invited to respond to both the exhibitions on display and the architectural features of the gallery. The atmosphere is laid-back and unstructured, so feel free to arrive late and say hi to anyone with a sketchbook. At 4:00pm, join the group for a coffee and chat to share your sketches if you'd like.
