This event will feature screenings and Q&A sessions with the directors of Lavadoiro, La panadellala noche eterna, As miçangas, and Hi grandpa. In Lavadoiro, directors Ana Amado and Lois Patiño explore the role of public washhouses in women's domestic work through a multidisciplinary approach. Ana Amado, a Galician architect and photographer, has collaborated with architects Carlos Seoane and David Chipperfield to create an ephemeral and performative intervention. The short film captures the entire process and expands the project to two other washhouses in the area. La Panadella, directed by Joel Jiménez, tells the story of a decaying roadside town in Catalonia, where the employees of Hotel and Restaurante Bayona continue their cyclical routines day and night. This new event, which will be held in the Balearic Islands at the beginning of spring, will be different from other marathons. The race will take place in the evening, allowing runners to relive the feat of Pheidippides while enjoying the breathtaking views of the most cosmopolitan island in Spain. Thousands of runners will run the 42.195 meters from Ibiza to Santa Eulalia de Riu.
