Cologne Harbor Christmas Market | Cologne
Celebration
The modern and picturesque Cologne Port Christmas Market, situated on the banks of the Rhine River and adjacent to the Chocolate Museum, features 70 stalls nestled within snow-white pagoda-shaped tents resembling ship sails. Besides a dazzling array of high-quality goods and handicrafts, it also offers a variety of cuisines from Cologne and around the world. Steaming mulled wine with spices attracts visitors to linger and sample the offerings beside the massive three-masted wooden ships. A diverse array of entertainment, including seamen's songs, pirate shows, and the "Lighthouse Tavern," adds to the festive atmosphere of the port. Another highlight this year is the return of the 48-meter-high Ferris wheel—offering breathtaking views of Cologne city, the cathedral, the Rhine River, and the dazzling Christmas lights.
