Experience the magic of puppetry at the Object Movement Puppetry Festival, hosted by CWP in New York City. This annual two-week extravaganza showcases the talents of eight puppetry and object theater artists, who have spent seven months honing their craft to present a captivating lineup of original works. The festival kicks off on March 22nd and runs through March 30th, with shows on March 22nd, 23rd, 29th, and 30th at 7:30pm, as well as matinee performances on March 23rd and 30th at 2pm. The first weekend will feature innovative creations by Cohlie Brocato, Duygu Bayar Ekren, Leah Levine & Mika Macieszko, and Julia Chien. The following weekend promises equally mesmerizing performances by Marina 'Heron' Tsaplina, Brenna Ross, Emmy Brett, and Sienna Aczon. Curated by Rowan Magee, Marcella Murray, and Justin Perkins, this festival celebrates the art of puppetry and object theater in a unique and inspiring way.
