Commute and Stay in Chiang Rai
Tuk-tuk is the most common form of transportation in Chiang Rai. Songthaew (Red Truck) is also a common and local mode of transport. There are air-conditioned Taxi, UBER and Grab available for the most comfortable way to drive around. Thai’s Rickshaw called 'Samlor' is easily available to cover short distance and one can also rent a bicycle and bikes for getting around from one place to another.
The famous Night Bazar area is a wonderful place, situated east of the Old City and on the Ping River, making it a pleasant sightseeing location.
