Kita is also at the top of the list as an area that has transportation connectivity, a wide range of hotels from low budget to high-end. There is also Minami which is again a transportation hub as well but also has a vibrant entertainment, shopping, and dining district and a great nightlife. Those seeking a quieter and calmer area to stay can choose Honmachi from which the subway line is at a walking distance and there are also plenty of varied restaurants. Then there is the Shin-Osaka area, Tennoji area, and Osaka Castle area of which the first is pretty well connected to the subway lines, the second has cheaper hotels although with slightly rough streets, and the third is a taxi ride away from the main city but has cheap accommodations.
