The climate here in Davao is tropical due to the presence of subtropical rainforest. A large part of the rainfall is in the summer months, while in the winter months, there is a significant amount of rainfall.

Kadayawan Festival is Davao’s week-long Harvest Festival. It is so nice to see so much of color and fun as the local inhabitants of Davao and tourists take part in the parades and parties in August.  The city’s ten tribes take part in this annual festival which has street-dancing parades and flower-laden floats along the main streets of Davao.
