Very nice staff loved the area very nice locals and the town square is only 2 miles away with shopping, food

Property was in good condition. Room was clean except for the floor in spots. This location has only fast food restaurants near it. Price is right. Owner very nice.

Would have gotten all stars but there was a cockroach in the bathroom and one in the bed when the covers was pulled back.

Was there for 8 days and nights and was not treated like a "guest" but was really treated more like a family member. I have been to many Hotel 6's and this was the best one by far.

Free wi-fi, free parking, close to dining facilities.

Overall a good stay. would be nice if they had a coffee pot in room.

If I could, I'd give it a zero star. Complete waste of space. Rooms are dingy and smell of smoke. I found a d*ldo in my room with a drug inhalant. They claim the breakfast is shut down bc of health reasons, but you can see through the door that it's full of storage items. The main door to check in is locked bc of this storage. I will never stay here, no do I wish anyone to stay here. Terrible.

My husband, my two girls 2 yrs old & 11 months old & I were in town for my husband's family reunion, he had never been to one his whole life so we decided to come this time. A cousin reserved 4 rooms at the Guesthouse Abbeville. We arrived at about 8pm, paid for the room(205). Dropped our things to what seemed to be a decent room & left within 15 minutes to drive 30 minutes away to where the family were meeting & greeting. Got back about 11pm, got my daughters' ready for bed, before going to a cousin's room next door. While getting them prepared for bed I killed about 3 little black hard bugs that may have been some form of beetle. I'm like what the heck😳, why am I killing all these bugs? I kind of brush it off go next door for about an hr, come back to our room to find a few more bugs including one on the ceiling over the bed. At almost 1 in the morning I call the front desk to notify them about the issue. I begin explaining to the man(brown skin Indian man, whose name I don't know) I've killed about 5 or 6 bugs, he proceeds to say yes they are all over & they don't bite!!!! I told him I don't care that they don't bite! I say I need something done about this. Do you have spray or something? He says with a very sarcastic tone, what do you want me to do about it? I was so shocked! I immediately told him I was coming to the desk. My husband & I went down to speak with him face to face. We got downstairs and we were standing at the window on the outside soaking to him through the glass. He has this look on his face like I was being bothersome. I started to speak telling him his customer service was horrible because no way should he have told me "oh they don't bite" like I should just be okay with a room full of bugs. I told him I have small kids here & I shouldn't have to continue to kill bugs my entire stay. He tell me again what do you want me to do go get all the bugs out of every corner and throw them out? He was being so sarcastic all the while I'm having the conversation with him, he looks at my husband as if he wanted my husband to defend his actions.  He tells me the bugs are in all them rooms, I tell him I'm not concerned about all the rooms I'm concerned about the room we're in with my 2 small children!!! He says so what do you want? A refund, so you can go?  Very rude & unprofessional! I say we are in the middle of nowhere!! At 1AM!! WITH 2 SMALL CHILDREN!! I said I didn't even ask for a freaking refund, the least you can do is give me some bug spray. He says well I can't spray the stuff because your children I said you don't have any raid or something he said yes he goes to the office come back out to have to go outside to a lil shed I believe & comes back with an old can of raid that had very little left. He hands it to me I walk away. No apology or anything for the inconvenience. I go next door to another family member's room to see if they had any bugs..  none!!!
