We stayed here on a Saturday night on our way back to Canada. When we arrived, we were greeted by Alexis (hope i spelt her name correctly) She noticed from our reservation that we had requested a quiet room on the top floor and indicated that they were extrely busy with a huge wedding and State Golf Tourney also, it took her a few minutes but she said i think I have the perfect room for you. She gave us a room at the end and upgraded us to a suite. The room was nice and very accomodating. Turned out the room was very quiet. Breakfast was another story. Even with 2 people trying to keep up with breakfast, they just couldn't. Cant fault the hotel as everyone came down for breakfast at the same time. We were able to get a bit to eat and were satisfied. Checkout and checkin was a breeze and alll staff that we encountered were very friendly. Although the room was great and the place was clean, as far as i'm concerned, the staff maked the difference.

I had booked our stay for a Sunday overnight for my husband & 2 kids. When I booked I specifically asked the front desk if the pool/water slide is working & open when we would be there. They double checked and told me that the slide would be open on Sunday for our stay but not on Monday as it's closed during the week. I went ahead with reserving our room & figured we would make sure my kids get enough time on it on Sunday. When I checked in on Sunday the first thing I asked is to confirm everything is working/open & the front desk said no the pool closes at noon on Sundays. How disappointing, I had specifically asked about this when booking my room. The actual hotel room was clean (very important of course). It's just as a family that doesn't do hotel stays often, the pool/slide part was the big attraction for us & it was a bummer. At checkout I mentioned to the front desk that they may want to relay the information to all staff that does booking he made it seem like I was making it up that someone told me wrong. He said it states on the website clearly the slide closes on Sunday, to which I told him that's why I called to double check since many sites have outdated info.
