We stayed here from the 15th May until 19th May 2024 Hotel had just reopened for the season. We had a Seaview. The room was lovely and clean a huge balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The room has a double bed dressing table with mirror and a chair plus there was sofa type chair for sitting on. The room also came with a full under counter fridge. Double wardrobe safe which we didn't use and bedside tables. Looked freshly decorated. Towels are also included in the room. You have to pay €7 per night I believe for a maximum of 7 nights. Our hotel was done per room not per person and pay that when checking in. The pool was a really good size with plenty of sunbeds. The bar is at the pool. Beer is around 4 to 5 euro and a vodka and coke is €7. Seems to be the same across the island ect some places in the town charge €9 for a vodka and coke but the beer seems to stay the same. Cocktails range anything from €9 and up. Happy hour everywhere is from around 7 or 7.30pm til either 9 or 9.30pm Nice big shower and toiletries. The only downside to our room was no kettle or glasses and cups. But after speaking to another couple on holiday they didn't have that either so maybe something that's common on the island. The staff all had smiles and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included with our in our holiday package. For breakfast Bacon mini sausages omelette fried egg and cold boiled eggs where on offer, along with cheeses ham cucumber tomatoes. Tinned peaches and tinned pineapple. Greek yoghurt. A selection of fresh fruit plus some slices of cake. A selection of bread and a toaster. A selection of jams chocolate spread and honey and butter were also avalible. Tea coffee and juices breakfast was served between 8 and 10 am. Bus stop right opposite the hotel which cost €2 per person each way you can get off at bus stop 4 which is at the top of town or you can stay on til you get to the old port if you don't want to walk down hill. There is a supermarket right opposite the hotel. There was no entertainment at the hotel but if you walk out of the hotel and turn right just around the corner os a bar which also shows the sports ect. If you carry on walking another minute or so yiu will find a small path which takes you to the beach where you can also catch the water taxi to the old port and cost €3.5 under 10s ride for free well worth going on even if only once we managed to see dolphins 1 evening on our trip to the old port. Thank you for alovely stay and we Will definitely be back even if only yo se tiggy the cat

Just back from a short break in one of Belvedere’s superior double rooms. First impressions clean & tidy with a good pool area. Room came with fridge but no kettle ! A quick visit to reception & a brand new one was supplied; note take own tea / coffee. Bedding / towels changed every other day. Breakfast basic but more than adequate. Dinner: the hotel offers a very limited a la carte menu at €21.50 ph which didn’t change during our time there. Pool: couldn’t beat cleanliness or pool bar service; indeed all staff encountered throughout the hotel were friendly & helpful. Note: we stayed in the main hotel building. The hotel also has many detached bungalows behind the main building. If you happen to be near the top of these, you will face 142 steep steps to the pool ! Certainly not for the less mobile. Location: great location just five minute flat walk to Achladies beach & water taxi to town. Bus stop (10) & supermarket right outside. Note hotel stipulates you are not permitted to consume own food & drink in communal areas….fair enough. Final note: you may consider a visit to Koukounaries beach. In places it is nine sun beds deep. We had one small beer plus an ice cream, cost €12 ! We didn’t stay. Other guests advised us that sunbeds there were €25 compared to €10 at Achladies !

BEWARE! The latest reviews are not “enhanced”. Booked two rooms, with Tui- for two adults and 16yr old. I emailed them and the hotel directly a week before to ask for rooms together. Upon arrival - They didn’t even have our reservation! We did get our two bungalow rooms with sea view.. but in two separate blocks! NOW.. the rooms- they are basic beyond a joke. One sheet folded on the bed to Share! One thin pillow each, no glass or even plastic cups for water. No hairdryer as advertised. Small fridge and small tv on a low table is the extent of it. Rooms are very small… very dated. One doesn’t even have bedside tables! The so called “steps” to get to the top level are closed off half way and they are SO STEEP. So you take the rough concrete road up and down and the incline is insane. Yes the views are stunning but boy- you’re stuffed if you forget something in your room and I’m a fit, middle aged woman who goes to the gym regularly. It’s not “some steps” from the hotel! as they quote. As for the food- very mediocre- the coffee isn’t even drinkable. The pool area and main hotel foyer etc is fine- but there is no way this is 4 *.and it certainly was not cheap. We are seasoned travellers and not ones to complain but for nearly £900pp for three , for a week DBB - this is an insult. Hope this helps you all.

Run for the hills don't waste your money at this place I was told by tui that the bungalows were just behind the hotel building as I informed them that I had terminal health problems but no we were put at the top of the hill a word I use likely but it was more like a mountain the management didn't want to know this happened to many visiting my husband had to hire a car for us to get up and down which alot of people can't always afford the food was appalling just like a school canteen this is the first holiday I have ever complained about as we are very easy going people and have had the privilege of being able to Travel alot.Tui should be ashamed of themselves putting people in this situation high end holiday 4 star should not even have a 2 star much nicer places to stay on the beautiful island of skiathos

From The outside the hotel looks very smart, although I am led to believe it has changed ownership over COVID. It is now almost exclusively frequented by Romanian and Serbian guests. The hotel claims to be 4 star, but behaves more like a 2. On arrival we were greeted politely , but then told very sternly that only food and drink bought in the hotel can be used there….. this has obviously been a problem for them. Hardly surprising that the food was diabolical and I wouldn’t blame people going to the supermarket opposite the hotel to stock up on snacks. Whilst essentially clean, the bed frame and headboard were made of a plastic material which peeled off and stuck to your skin. No Indoor bar… or tea and coffee making facilities in the room as advertised. The staff are largely indifferent with the exception of one very nice lady. Liked the resort but won’t be coming here again … certainly NOT worth the money

Although the rooms in the main building may well be ok the bungalows are a different story. We were on the first of 3 levels of them on a steep hillside. That is 48 steps or a very steep hill to walk up. If you should be at the top level that will be 142 steps. Now my wife has mobility issues so even the 42 steps were going to be a problem. I immediately went back to reception to try to get a room on the ground level, a few bungalows there and the main building rooms. Couldn't be done they said. I will add that on the Tui advert for this place. they stated the hotel is being looked into for access purposes. but no result to that. when I looked at the photo's shown , it only showed the bungalows on the ground level. So I thought from that there will probably be a few steps or a bit of a slope. How wrong I was. My wife and I are in mid 70's But even much younger people were saying haw difficult it is to get to the top level. However, I did get over this the next day by hiring a car and was able to drive up and down from the room. That was 200 euro's for 6 days. needless to say I wasn't very happy about that but it did allow us to get around the island easier. I think the food OK ish but with little choice. Staff are friendly And the room was cleaned nicely. Personally I would not return to the Belvedere again.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, on a positive all the staff were lovely. Very welcoming and accommodating to the best of what they had , we stayed b&b , the breakfast is basic, same every day , best to go out. My best advice is to avoid booking The main building has only a handful of rooms all the other rooms are described as bungalows, but they most definitely are not! They are square shacks on a hill. With very steep steps , over 150 , too difficult to climb on a regular basis so you quickly learn nipping back to your room if u have forgotten something is a no no, my suggestion pack your bag for the day ! We are able bodied but this completely spoiled our holiday I would suggest book elsewhere , sorry to all the staff as I couldn’t fault them it’s not a hotel I would ever rebook

The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was lovely and very clean. The food in the restaurant had many different options and was so delicious . Right across the road is the bus station where you can go anywhere in the island. And the bus comes every 15 minutes. They were so polite and helpful with every request we had. Definitely a must visit hotel if you plan to have amazing holidays in Skiathos island . Congratulations to all of Belvedere team !

Our stay was fantastic ! It was the best vacation! Everyone was beyond amazing, with a smile on their face and more than willing to help us with whatever we needed! The bar was the right place for a quiet morning next to the pool but also for a relaxed evening with a cocktail by the excellent barman. The staff at the reception were amazing, super friendly, understanding and extremely helpful! Our room was spotlessly clean every day, a positive thing for us as it made our vacation even better. I could not but recommend this hotel as a place for a relaxing holiday but also the ideal hotel to explore the beaches of the island without losing the comforts or being isolated far from the country. Thank you for letting us know what Greek hospitality and care is!
