My initial first experience on the phone at Fairmont was not a happy one . Mr Fayd the resort Manager rang me to rectify the situation convinced me to experience a stay and am I glad he did . He was there to greet us when we arrived and took care of us while we were there always ensuring our stay was enjoyable . The staff ate well trained and nothing was too much for them always helpful smiling and attentive . The Japanese restaurant staff and supervisor were excellent and the food delicious . Breakfast was disappointing and not much variety especially the fruit choices in 3 bowls . Nothing exotic or exciting . The leisure facility could be improved with daily scheduled programme including yoga and meditation without the price tag .so much potential to provide more with the amazing grounds . We had to go to The Hyatt for leisure activities …really and take our own taxi there too . Defeats the object of a 5 star Resort. The games room uninviting and drab. Pool table worn out & not much thought into the room size to move around table without cue stick going into the side wall .Spas amazing and clean but at a price . Poolside attentive staff always smiling . In all it is the staff and the resort Manager Mr Fayd that credit goes to as it is their dedication and excellent service that we most remember that would want us to come back to The Fairmont . My first impressions for not great . We were kept waiting for our room after arriving at 11am we were not given our 2 rooms until 3pm . For such a large hotel I thought it was not the service we expected. The rooms were clean showers not powerful . Room service for simple things was NO SERVICE at all . Ckeaning staff room service staff did not speak English . Breakfast was amazing everything you could wish for was available . Fruits cut freshly . Omelettes made to your request . Ordering on the table was never smooth as to get attention from anyone was a problem too busy talking to each other . You had to wave your hand every single day to ge any attention . Lattes cold cutlery lacking . Cushions dirty . Same at loungers dirty . No one on hand to take orders . Apart from table tennis no other games available . No pool table or games room Or board games . For such a big resort attention to detail just wasn’t there. For the amount of money they charge the saving grace was the breakfast and the size of the rooms . It could be so much better . Spa charges not worth it . Couldn’t use indoor pool unless you booked spas day . Activity programme limited to just yoga and gym coach . So much potential to be a lot more but regrettably NOT. Requested drinks to watch sunset they came requested nuts coming coming they would say never came at all . Management never at hand to speak to GM unless you had an appointment . How can you voice anything if you have no one capable of voicing it to . The breakfast was definitely the only highlight at this hotel

I recently went with a group. It was my first time at the hotel. All the staff were accommodating, and the hospitality was amazing. Our host, Khalil, was a true gentleman. He was determined to ensure our stay and experience were one we would remember. He was attentive to our needs and made recommendations of where we could go to eat and/or party. He made travel arrangements for us, too. The hotel staff were also lovely and paid attention to every detail. The rooms were cleaned, and the food was lovely. The pool servers were on hand to take our drink/food orders and provided us with towels. The security staff were friendly and all the staff greeted us with a smile. I'm recommending this to everyone because I had the best time!

I am absolutely amazed at the High ratings this hotel gets! It is a lovely hotel & pool area. Most of the staff are great, and if you are lucky enough to get a nice room you will be happy. If you get an odd number room in block 1, you won't be. This was a treat for my wife's 70th birthday, which the hotel was pre advised by easyjet. We arrived late morning and was told we would have to wait (understandably) for our room to be prepared, which will be about 2 hours. I, naively, assumed that a nice room with a bottle of wine maybe, was being arranged as a little treat for my wife. After 3 hours I was given a key for room 1237. I will state now, there is only I lift in each of these blocks, right at the end of a long corridor furthest from reception. There was no one at that time to help with our large heavy suitcases, so off we struggled and when we got to the room our hearts sank. These rooms ovelook a dirty rubbish strewn street opposite a hotel renovation with the jackhammers going. Straight back to reception where all the young girl could say was I booked a room with a balcony? True I did, but I had requested a quite room with a balcony overlooking the pool for my wife's special occasion and this was the best they can do? She admitted she had only been doing reception for 2 months and seem to have no thought for the older guests. After about 10 minutes of back and forth, I asked for a manager and magically they found a really nice ground floor room. Having been to 2 of the Riu's in Agadir, they are much more accommodating.Food is 70% Moroccan tangine,20% pasta, 10% chips etc. Nice but very repetitive, breakfast was the same as most all inclusive hotels, it was like most of the dishes were just refilled from lunch to dinner apart from a slight change of the poor quality main meat offering. We love our food but by the third day we we were not loving this anymore.This was the dearest all inclusive hotel we have ever booked for our 4th visit to Agadir, which we love. Never again!

This could be a fantastic hotel but has some very annoying training issues they need to sort out. The really good bits: Our room (with balcony) was refurbished and kept spotlessly clean. The public areas, restaurants, pool & lobby areas were beautiful both by day and night. The food was super high quality at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some of the staff were amazing, concierge, the servers around the pool, Youness & Mohamed at the beach restaurant & manager Mohsin were all exemplary. The not so good bits: Buffet restaurant. Nothing was labelled, you had to guess what the foods were. The service was well below par. Coffee at breakfast never arrived but they kept trying to deliver other peoples drinks to the table. Dinner was chaotic, tables not cleared, being left to find your own cutlery, ice bucket being brought to the table for red wine. It was not a five star experience. Lobby bar. Service was painfully slow. It took so long to get anyone’s attention to order a drink that we saw several people give up and leave. I was confused what the purpose of the blue suited managers was. They were always in the public areas & looked like they should be doing something customer facing but they just stood around chatting with each other and ignoring the guests. Would I return…? Yes but only when the hotel management have invested in some much needed staff training.

We returned to the Tikida Dunas after a few years away, and i must say it seems the standards have slipped a little. Our room was fine, modern and spacious for two people. The room was cleaned daily and the beds comfy. Our safe was unfortunately broken on arrival and also the balcony doors (they could open from the outside when locked, we were in a ground floor room). Both issue were rectified during the stay. The pool & garden area is lovely and the main feature of the hotel. The staff on a whole aren’t very friendly given the exception of a few bar staff in the main reception. The food is what really lets the Dunas down. Everything was cold, we struggled to make a decent meal most days and on our arrival at the late night buffet we were faced with mould on the tomatoes!! This was reported to reception/ management but i received no acknowledgment. I must say i was very disappointed on a whole and would not be in a rush to return.

Just returned from a week at this great little apartment hotel.Excellent value for money. Good quiet location yet easy walking distance from the superb beach and centre of bars and restaurants and shops.Very clean. Excellent service from all the efficient friendly staff especially Youssef and Abdul.Nothing is too much trouble. The buffet breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and I am very hard to please. The rooms are large and comfortable with facilities to cater for yourself if you wish to.Balconies are large and overlook the swimming pool and ocean.The swimming pool Is excellent and plenty of fresh towels available I hope in the future they will consider having a bar and restaurant for dinner and offer money exchange.Thank you for a very enjoyable week at your hotel in Agadir
