Biblos Resort Alaçatı

Amazing hotel, friendly staff , good restaurant, good service 👍👍👍👍👍👍

We went for a 10day vacation to Biblos as a couple and had the family of our daughter with us. In general, we were highly satisfied with the services of this very nice resort. In particular, the food was excellent in all 3 restaurants, but the Asian food (sushi et al) and the Turkish cuisine were our favourites. The latter which was managed by chief Ali Yilmaz provided a marvellous rich morning buffet with many delicious foods while offering à la carte meals at noon and evenings. Being Turkish citizens living abroad, we are of course very much enjoying traditional Turkish food and deserts, in particular. Insofar, the milk rice desert was probably the finest I have enjoyed for a long time and the pumpkin desert also was very special and enjoyable. The amenities were always clean, a factor that my wife is paying much attention to. When she says that she found the hotel very clean, then it is like getting a quality certificate for it. The beach was somewhat smaller than we anticipated from the pictures. The water is not deep so when you go into, it is rather for getting refreshed but less for swimming. I have read from low rating comments that service quality was one of the major complaint factors. Based on our own experience, yes, there is clearly room for improvement in this regard. Three main weaknesses are to point out: 1. orders in between often get forgotten, or are served with significant delay 2. orders come uncoordinated - all at once, or main course comes too shortly after starters. Soups were not very hot (rather lukewarm) when served either. 3. Ordering meat: while you are asked how it shall be cooked (rare, medium, well-done), it often does not come as ordered, mostly a degree higher Since the service personnel mostly consists of students who work during the summer season to earn some money, we had a higher tolerance for the above insufficiencies, but are aware, that others may not, especially in an amenity of this price level. At least, there are also exceptions like Mr. Kerem Yusuf who was responsible for our table on one occasion and stood out from the crowd in terms of service quality and is worth mentioning. Otherwise, the personnel in general were always very friendly/willing to help and seemed to do their best to give us guests a good experience. Overall, we enjoyed very much the stay at Biblos and would not hesitate to return in a near future. As an important advice to future guests, we strongly recommend to book all inclusive, since the food and drinks are expensive and can become quite heavy on budgets of families who have kids with them.

Only checked in today and absolutely wowed by the resort and facilities the spa is probably the best I’ve seen at any hotel and service and food has been impeccable. Had one of the best message treatments, rooms are very clean with high end toiletries everything is spot on!

We had a wonderful stay at Biblos Alaçatı. The hotel is truly magnificent, with beautiful interior decor and extremely clean facilities. The food was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Our room was meticulously cleaned every day, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We spent time at the Cocos pool, which was very clean, and the staff did everything they could to ensure our comfort. When we entered the pool area, the attentive staff immediately took care of seating and towels, making us feel very comfortable, especially thanks to Mr. Ramazan, who was very helpful. We would like to thank him personally for his kind attention. Overall, the staff was always cheerful and responded promptly to every request, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was a fantastic vacation for us, and we will definitely return to this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff & great location. We stayed for 8 nights which was perfect. There is a continual breeze so never feels too hot - although it can get super windy at times - so stay by the pool if you don’t want to be covered in sand! Special shout outs to the staff - including Ozgur, Hillal, Samet, Hasan & Furkun at Khalia; Anastasiia & Anzhelika at Guest Services; & Julia & Nia at the Spa - which is one of the best I’ve ever experienced. As well as the guys on the door - I’m sorry I didn’t get their names! My only constructive (not negative) feedback (which we shared with the team at the time) is that there are some very demanding guests - who shout the loudest (literally) & tend to take precedence over those that don’t - especially at busy times / if you don’t speak Turkish! I’d also suggest the hotel communicates the free airport transfers & times for breakfast etc - as we ended up paying for the former & the Biblos mini van is much comfier! Finally - I think water should be included for the pool / beach etc - could you invest in a filter system to avoid relying on bottled water? We would definitely visit again. Alacati is a beautiful area - it’s very expensive compared to other resorts but more than worth it.
