Being a bonvoy member I always stay at Marriott properties and have never been disappointed. This time was different. I had by mistake booked a handicapped room, and having stayed there for 2 nights, I can only hope that no handicapped person ever has to stay in it. There is not enough space for a wheelchair, the bed would be way too high, even for a non-handicapped person you basically need a step stool to get in. Aside from this, the room was not cleaned properly, the shower had black stains in it from “re- surfacing”( I found that out when I asked for someone to clean the shower before I used it), that was perfectly acceptable. It wouldn’t come off even after they tried to clean it again. The fridge didn’t work at all. Also, no insulation between room, I could hear my neighbors shower/ toilet all night long. Also their alarm in the morning. Not a relaxing weekend.
