Overall it's pretty good~ It's quite European, and you can walk to the nearby town in ten minutes, where you can eat and shop.
The air is good and the scenery is nice~ The decoration is not bad, the hotel's breakfast is delicious and the plates are beautiful😋 Suitable for couples to stay~

The hotel is an old building, it looks very classic, but it seems that it has been newly painted or the floor is waxed, the smell is very strong. Because I came back very late from dinner, I didn't notice the smell until midnight when I lay down. I was embarrassed to disturb them, so I sat with the window open all night, feeling helpless.

Our stay was fairly pleasant and the room as adequate but did not look anything like the rooms in the photos. We had very noisy guests overhead for 3 of the 4 nights, which is not the hotel’s fault. Parking was a bit of a nigh**are. They have off street parking if you have a tiny car and can make the swing into the gate from a very narrow street. Our vehicle would not make the turn. There were parking lots down the street but they were generally full and it was difficult to find spaces each day.

We got a bedroom on the last floor but there was no heater in the bathroom. We are in December, winter time how can you offer a bedroom with low heat and no heater at all in the bathroom? After complaining to the receptionist, we got a bedroom with a good heater in the bedroom and bathroom, then we were satisfied.

The food was excellent. The room was very comfortabke and clean. The shared space was great for playing games after dinner. I would highly recommend it

We loved this location in the heart of Amboise. This was a good value for the cost. The outdoor area is very beautiful and you can see the Chateau from the upstairs windows. Very peaceful.
