Ocean Coast Hotel at the Beach Amelia Island Reviews

This hotel is very conveniently located to restaurants. There is a very nice pizza place right on the property you could park your car and not get back in it until you leave. The beach is a block and a half away. You can hear the waves crashing at night outside your hotel door. The peds were comfortable the breakfast they served was good. We ate dinner at sliders Seaside Grill, and it was delicious. As an FYI, there are not coffee pots in the room and I was not aware that they would charge me $10 for the overnight parking fee. But as close it is to the beach $10 is not much I just wasn’t aware

The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable The bathroom needed a good cleaning. There was an extra fee for parking and room service was available only upon request.

Rate was good but this property is in need of a full update as it is tired. Cleaning staff does a wonderful job & the linens are clean but you can only do so much in an older property that has not been renovated.

This is an older motel. Clean rooms but dated. Their site didn’t say anything about their remodeling. Their site said they had a breakfast buffet but it was only cold cereal and muffins. Staff were very nice. Price was good but the $25 resort fee was for nothing. Pictures did match the room age.

The room was older but ok. However, we stayed 2 nights and no maid came the 2nd day to make the bed or replace linens. No extra blankets and no extra towels in the room. We went for breakfast and the only thing available were prepackaged muffins. We asked at the front desk and were told that they were going to close the lobby breakfast area on the 1st as they had gotten bought out by Hilton and would be going through major renovations.

Very good hotel for a quick over-night stay during a longer trip. Awesome pizza parlor next door and only a block from the ocean. Only downer is that there is no elevator.

Our room was very run down. In general the room appeared dirty. There was very little lighting.
