Great cozy place ideally located in the city center. Great people that make it a special occasion. They have a lot of attention for their guests. The rooms are spacious and clean, although there is some city noise during the night. A great place to come back to.

Fantastic hosts clean rooms nothing was too much trouble helped with booking places to visit plenty of tea & coffee in room very helpful staff when flight got cancelled can’t fault anything will certainly come back x

Stayed for 6 days.Excellent hosts,nothing was too much trouble for them.Booked restaurant reservations and trips for us too.Was up in the attic room lots of stairs,had a great view of the square.Room was very clean,clean towels every day and plenty of tea/coffee facilities.even provided ear plugs!as the square could get noisy ! Excellent food market on a Friday and Saturday morning. Would definitely stay again.

I had a bad experience with this hotel, as the reception was not really good, cold and giving minimum service; the cleaning was not well done (toilets used by the cleaner as w I was outside, bed half done, etc) and nobody to apologize for this. Rooms are very little and noisy! I do not recommand.

Heb prima geslapen maar vind het jammer dat er op je sprei en hoeslaken vlekken zitten. Verder moet je douchen staand in het bad. Kortom goed geslapen maar prijs en kwaliteit vind ik niet in verhouding staan. Meerdere malen in Amersfoort geweest dus het is onderbouwd. Verder wel uiters vriendelijk personeel

Mooi hotel, perfect locatie want je zit midden in het centrum en uitgaansgebied. Vriendelijk personeel, biedt zelfs aan de koffers te dragen. Je mag je bagage stallen bij aankomst en vertrek. Kamers zijn gewoon prima, wel gehorig maar voor ons niet storend

Mais qui a eu l'idée d'utiliser la pièce dans laquelle je me trouve comme chambre d'hôtel (n 6)!!? Le bruit sur la place juste devant est infernal, la nuit. Cela ne s'arrête jamais (bars, resto, marché qui s'installe), c'est juste impossible d'y échapper, même avec mon casque antibruit pour l'avion. Les fenêtres sont du simple vitrage, c'est comme si j"y étais. Sérieusement, si vous pensiez dormir, même juste un peu, trouvez un autre endroit.

Wij verbleven 1 nachtje in hotel de Gaaper. Een klein zeer gastvrij familiehotel in het hartje van Amersfoort. Zodra je binnenstapt voel je je meteen zeer welkom en wordt alles zorgvuldig uitgelegd over het hotel en de omgeving. Het hotel is tevens t oudste huis van steen in Amersfoort en was vroeger een apotheek. De kamers zijn simpel ingericht maar zeer ruim en schoon. We hebben goed geslapen. In hartje centrum kan het (vooral zaterdagavond) een beetje lawaaierig zijn in de omgeving, maar dat weet je als je hartje centrum in een hotel zit. Wij hadden er niet zoveel last van, we hadden een kamer aan de achterzijde. De twee broers staan morgens vroeg voor je klaar om een heerlijk ontbijt met vers gebakken broodjes en een eitje voor je te bakken. Wij hebben het heel erg naar ons zin gehad en komen zeker weer terug als we nar Amersfoort komen! Gratis parkeren kan buiten het centrum. Wij parkeerde in een woonwijk achter de Esso aan de hogeweg. Ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van het hotel.

Geweldig en heerlijk hotel. Op de markt van Amersfoort, mooi en goed verzorgde kamer. Het ontbijt is fantastisch en men is bereid om iets extra s te doen voor de klant. Eieren werden gemaakt zoals wij wilden, heerlijke espresso en een goed verzorgd buffet met brood, beleg, yoghurt en vers fruit.
