Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre

Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre ★★★★

📍 De Nieuwe Poort 20, Amersfoort

"I booked with Trip.com and chose the wrong dates. Upon asking the hotel staff to change it I was informed that trip.com did not allow it and vice versa. I am a business and leisure traveller who travels at least 15 times a year. My business on *********** has never had such a problem. Never using this service again."

📍 De Windturbine 10, Amersfoort

"At dinner, I found the meal salad to be minimal, even though I had ordered a large one. Additionally, I had ordered an extra bread board, which only arrived after I had already finished the salad. When we arrived at the hotel at 11:00 PM, we wanted to have a drink, but the bar was already closed. Very disappointing. Otherwise, it was okay."

Hotel Randenbroek ★★

📍 Willem van Mechelenstraat 27-29, Amersfoort

"The location is perfect, the room very basic but fine. However, I was surprised by the price-quality ratio. An outdated hotel, renovated, but not meeting hotel expectations. Very basic, extremely noisy, overpowering air freshener, a basic shared refrigerator in the hallway, stuffy in the hallway, and the hotel room barely cooled except by a simple and noisy fan. The price-quality ratio was not commensurate."

Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre ★★★★
"I wish we could have seen a little more of the town center from the room, but the view was still nice. The breakfast included hot* dishes and pancakes, so it was just right for a two-night stay. The only thing that was disappointing was that there wasn't any jam or maple syrup replenished. There was a snack corner near the entrance, which was convenient. I'd like to stay here again."

"Room looked good Till my phone fell under the bed and I went to grab it…. I grabbed a condom accidently! Then I went looking under the bed and i saw balloons trash and little ants. I checked out and left the hotel room. Me and my girlfriend stayed for 2 hours Because of this! Never booking at this location again!!!"

"Breakfast is okay, very close to the station, 10 euros by taxi. The room is slightly older and there is an exquisite French restaurant across the road. The front desk service is particularly good."
