The location is perfect for visiting Amsterdam - a lovely trip 15 mins on the free ferry to Amsterdam central station. Also, plenty of cool bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. However, a minus point for Hilton, if you’re a member of Hilton Honors, don’t expect to get any points - Hilton doesn’t award them unless you book through them (likely at a higher price of course!).
I've been to Amsterdam twice and both times I chose to stay at BUNK. The hotel is located inside a deconsecrated cathedral, tastefully furnished and with great attention to detail. Although the rooms are small, they are equipped with all comforts and, most importantly, they are clean and cozy. Even though breakfast wasn't included, we often stopped by the hotel's restaurant/bar, which offers truly delicious dishes. The staff is as kind as ever 😊
If I were to return to Amsterdam again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back a third time. Even though it's not super close to the center, it offers the best value for money.
Great stay overall! The hotel is right next to the train station and close to the bus station, so it’s very easy to travel around. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, but a bit small with limited space for opening large luggage. Some bathroom items were missing such as shower cap, but the staff kindly helped when asked. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.
HMy stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable, starting with its excellent environment that made me feel relaxed right away. What stood out most was the thoughtful shuttle service—after getting off the ferry to the opposite bank, we could simply contact the hotel, and the shuttle would come to pick us up, which was incredibly convenient.
As we don’t speak English well, we initially failed to understand what the front desk staff was saying. We want to give a big thank-you to a kind and beautiful front desk lady—she was so patient with us, never showing any annoyance even when we couldn’t follow her.
Our second thanks go to Zaki, the shuttle driver. He went out of his way to find us, driving around three times when we got lost, but he still came to pick us up with a warm smile the whole time. He even helped us carry our luggage, which made us feel really cared for.
Last but not least, we appreciate the male front desk staff on duty the night of September 4th. He proactively asked how our day was going. When we told him our luggage was broken, he recommended the best store nearby, and we successfully bought a suitable new suitcase thanks to his suggestion.
We sincerely hope the hotel can help us convey our gratitude to these three staff members mentioned above. Being in a foreign country, their kindness made us feel a great deal of warmth, which we will always remember.
This hotel’s service has exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely choose to stay here again!
The hotel is super conveniently located, just 20 meters to the left of the exit is the Noord metro station, which is the terminus for metro line 52. I bought a 3-day pass and every day I could reach Central Station in just 2 stops, a quick 4-minute ride. Getting to the museum district was also a breeze, only 4 stops away. The room itself was quiet. Right outside, bus line 38 takes you directly to the local Albert Heijn supermarket, which is also a manageable 900-meter walk if you prefer. For daily essentials, there's a very convenient supermarket right in front of the train station.
Fantastic service from start to finish, easy to check in and out. The location is a little further out of town but easy enough to use public transport. Room is small but to be expected for the price, would have loved a mirror in the bedroom to be able to do my hair and make up. If you’re looking for a budget friendly stay and don’t mind a bit of travel into town this is a great spot.
Hotel was very far from the ferry terminal. This was known when I booked the hotel so no fault of the hotel just that if you are booking here, it will take you 15-20 mins to get to the ferry terminal to take F2 ferry to Amsterdam Centraal. Otherwise take a bus to the metro stop in 10 mins would be faster for exploring the city. Breakfast was basic but included free so nothing to complain about. Room was generally clean. Only small issue that it can get really busy during peak season and lifts take 2-3 mins to arrive. Breakfast if you eat too late spills out of the main dining area. Very crowded. Best to eat breakfast before 8am. Many nice food places and supermarket near hotel.
Hotel has a nice, pleasant atmosphere and inside is clean and bright. Location was bit hard to get to nearby places to eat without walking for at least 20-25 minutes. Not much choices for food at their restaurant. The room was nice, bed comfortable, Reception person was very nice and helpful. Solve a worrisome problem of accidental double booking without too much problem and hassle. The hotel Reception and Manager work it well and solved the problem.
Amazing hostel location, rooms had spacious bunk beds, mirror and clean toilets and shower room in the room. Just a headups the the travel adapter keeps falling from the socket attached to the bed. So it's easier if you carry power bank or lighter weight travel adapter for charging.
Super five-star hotel, take a free ferry from Central Station 10 minutes to the North Shore, enter the NDSM Art District, 10 minutes to the hotel, a total of only three rooms, are independent, very refined and comfortable, super vision. From the top to the top of the night, you can take photos on the tower crane, which is very exciting, the only crane hotel in the world.

MmcarmenrTo provide the access codes you need to check in at the reception.
Located 10 minutes from the metro station or 25 from the ferry.
The best room is a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room, a nice room,
The bed and coats were very comfortable for our taste.
I missed a basic kit of oil, pepper and salt kit as they have in other chains of this style.
AAnonymous UserNot a bad place overall, quite easy to check in and check out. Everything required was provided, quite a large apartment. All the information was provided before our arrival which was super helpful. In the future might choose the place again :)
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, there is a ferry connection to the center, and the waiters are friendly😊 It is a place worth staying again!
The only drawback is that there is no elevator, and it is difficult to carry the luggage up to the third floor!
みみれThere is a free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station, which takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel itself is in the shape of a ship and faces the canal, making it a very interesting hotel.
When you open the window, you can see the canal in front of you.
The room and amenities we stayed in this time are the bare minimum, but if you just want to sleep, it's enough. Next time I would like to stay in a room with the letter BOTEL.
NNataHotel staff is really nice and helpful. Great location, 5 min walk to metro station, 10 min walk from free ferry, that will take you to the city center.
AAnonymous UserIf you get a GVB unlimited ride (metro, bus, tram, ferry) ticket, a bus will come every 5 minutes from the bus stop, which is a 2-minute walk away. 1 stop, door to door, and you will arrive in about 20 minutes. There is also convenient access to Schiphol Airport via South Station. Transportation convenience is very good.
If you walk for about 15 minutes on a comfortable walking path to North Station, you will find a spacious square with a basketball court, the municipal government building, a supermarket and a food court (with Asian cuisine), so I didn't have any trouble eating.
The police are right in front of the hotel, so there is no doubt that the town is safe and secure. I didn't see anyone who looked like a vagrant.
However, I made a reservation based on advance information that there was a laundry room, but there was no laundry room. I think you mean laundry service.
The lighting in the room is dim and not suitable for desk work. wifi is slow too.
GGuest User-taxes were added when we arrived, each night we add to pay 2€ per person plus others taxes not mentioned when we booked.
-it was very noisy, all night we could hear slamming doors and people talking from Time to Time.
-The bedroom was very big and well equiped (fridge) and the host was nice and handful.
For the price it was overall correct.
