The hotel is located in a small village at the heart of the bamboo forest, which offers stunning views on the surrounding mountains and tea fields. The rooms are nicely decorated and pretty well equipped. The personal is very kind and try to be helpful.
That being said, our stay was not as good as we had expected because the bedroom and the restaurant were freezing cold. When we first arrived in our room the heating was off so we had to turn it on, which was fine, however 5h later it was still only 17°c in the room and it was already getting dark… We complained and the staff kindly offered to upgrade us to a room which was supposed to be warmer and it was, but only by one or two degrees depending on the hour of the day. The restaurant was only 10°c so we had to eat with jackets and hats on. The floor heating had not been turned on yet unfortunately. So if you consider staying at this hostel during Autumn/Winter make sure to ask if the floor heating is on before booking.

We had a wonderful stay here. The service was excellent, very detailed and thoughtful.
They upgraded us to a duplex room with amazing views over the mountains. Even so, the smaller room was lovely as well (they let us pick which one we preferred).
They paid a lot of attention to detail, helped us call our drivers, order food, find little hiking routes etc.
The food at the hotel is simple and fresh chinese countryside food. We enjoyed it.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this place.

It's a very design B&B and it's quite comfortable to stay there. The boss is very enthusiastic and will help collect express delivery and pick up and drop off the ski resort. You can also order dinner from the boss in advance, and the portion of meat given is very generous! All in all highly recommended!

It was the first B&B to enter the valley in 2019. The owner has a great plot and the design is very down-to-earth. You can look down at the valley and look up at the mountains.
